Our Values

  • We are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive and comfortable environment for all to thrive. This includes taking Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and trauma informed training and always being open to learning from others.

  • We strive to understand and change our colonial biases and walk with love & respect on the lands of the Indigenous People where we are blessed to live and guide.

  • We honour the Earth and actively seek to create opportunities for reciprocity as we connect with all our relations.

  • We love our community and giving back feels so good! Here are a few ways we are doing this in 2025.

Meet Claire Beach

Founder and Lead Guide @ The Wild Edge

"Hi, I’m Claire. As far back as I can remember I have been exploring ways to deepen my connection to nature. For many years it was my escape from the burnout of an intense career. My search took me on wild adventures paddling, hiking, camping & travelling every corner of our beautiful Country and abroad from the Arctic to West Africa.

With motherhood came a new sense of urgency to repair my relationship with the earth & rise rooted. To heal from the trauma in my life and have the bravery to follow my passions. This search led me to discover the practice of Forest Bathing and becoming a Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide in 2019.  I am committed to bringing this transformational practice to as many people as I can.

It is clear to me that, in order to reach the people that need this practice the most, I need to meet them where they are in schools, workplaces and community groups. Facilitating inspiring & impactful talks, programs and retreats for these groups is at the core of my mission for The Wild Edge.

Now more than ever we need to remember that WE ARE NATURE! When we slow down, unplug and connect with the Earth we come home to ourselves. We remember who we are. We find comfort and healing in partnership with the Earth. We rise rooted and create a brighter future.

In addition to being a Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide, Claire is also a Nature Rooted Coach.
