Claire worked with my 4th year honours geography class on one of the coldest days of winter and right in the middle of the stressful mid-term period. Her session was such a gift! Claire began by leading a classroom discussion about honouring ‘two-eyed seeing’ and ways of listening to their own, embodied wisdom. Despite the cold and snow, the class was enthusiastic to head outdoors. Claire guided a sensory practice that led to shared reflections, including many recalling the joy and wild energy of childhood play. This session was also an intervention in the cycles of anxiety that pervade our educational institutions and the difficult times young people are navigating.

“The Power of Eco Therapy: Easing Stress Naturally workshop was engaging and informative for our clients at PC Recovery College. Claire's thoughtful facilitation created a welcoming space where everyone felt comfortable and included. The hands-on portion provided an immersive, sensory experience that allowed us to explore our senses and deepen our connection with nature and each other in a meaningful way.
Throughout the workshop, clients gained insights into how nature can support stress reduction and strategies to incorporate eco therapy into their daily lives. Many participants reported feeling noticeably calmer and more relaxed afterward, appreciating the opportunity to slow down and notice the small things.
This workshop was a fantastic way to unwind, reconnect with nature, and learn simple yet effective strategies for managing stress naturally. We highly recommended this workshop to support the wellbeing of clients and staff!”
