Here are a few of the key benefits received through guided, immersive time with Nature.

Hammock in Nature

When we deeply connect through our senses our bodies release happy hormones. Dopamine -makes us feel good.

Serotonin - regulates our mood, sleep, digestion, memory + more!

Oxytocin - promotes empathy, trust and

a sense of belonging.

Happiness & Mood

Relief from Stress & Anxiety

Mindful time in nature brings us into our parasympathetic nervous system. This shift from brain to body reduces rumination, anxiety, stress & depression.

Boost our Immune System

Many trees give off aerosols that increases our NK (natural killer) cells. This boosts our immune systems which helps us fight auto immune diseases and cancers.

3 hours in Nature can give you a boost for weeks!

Immersing yourself, mindfully in the sounds, smells, patterns and colours of Nature helps to reset your nervous system. This is especially true for those who are neurodiverse who absorb an average of 42% more information that neurotypical people.

Nervous System Regulation

Mental Fatigue

We are living in chaotic times and we all experience mental fatigue. Mindfully connecting with Nature not only improves our cognitive function, but stimulates our creativity.

Heart Health

During and after a Nature Therapy session, our heart rate lowers. Our blood pressure regulates. We release cortisol and adrenaline from our bodies.

Midday Sit Spot Club

Weekly Club starting June 3rd at Lake Ontario Park

Feeling overwhelmed?

You’re not alone. Many of us move through our days overstimulated, distracted, and disconnected from the natural rhythms that help us feel grounded and well.

Our Midday Sit Spot Club provides a simple weekly practice designed to help you pause, balance your nervous system, and reconnect with nature — and yourself.

During our time together, you’ll be guided through gentle invitations to help you:

  • slow down and unplug

  • rest your mind and body

  • deepen sensory awareness

  • build a meaningful relationship with nature

  • create a supportive habit of outdoor mindfulness

You may be surprised by how good it feels to simply sit near a tree with nowhere else to be.

Bring something comfortable to sit on, dress for the weather, and silence your phone if possible. We’ll gather outdoors each week for a shared midday reset in nature.

Let your body settle. Let your mind rest. Press pause and reconnect with what matters.

And last, but not least. Come as you are. Everyone is welcome.

Our Mission

FB at Lamb's Pond.JPG

We are living in an age of constant uncertainty and that creates heightened anxiety and feelings of hopelessness that impact every aspect of our lives. There is one thing that is a constant source of support, beyond not just for our physical needs and that's Nature! As a wise woman once said "Knowing that you love the Earth changes you, it activates you to defend and protect and celebrate. But when you feel that the Earth loves you in return, that relationship transforms from a one-way street to a sacred bond." Robin Wall Kimmerer

Through immersive experiences our Mission is to;

  • TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO FIND REST, HAPPINESS AND THRIVE WITH NATURE Common benefits are: reduce stress & anxiety, reset your nervous systems, improve our mood and focus, boosts your immune system, increase joy and creativity, find a deep sense of belonging.

  • CREATE ACTIVE HOPE Bringing people back into connection with the Earth reminds them of the resilience of Nature and fosters Active Hope. When we feel the comfort and support of the Earth it brings us joy, Love grows from joy and connection, We protect what we love.

Our Values

Our Values inform everything we do. From Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and trauma informed training to reconciliation we are committed to continuing our learning and love for the people we search and the land we guide on.

We also love giving back to our community and striving to provide services to those who need it the most. Learn more about our values and how we are giving back  through the link below.

Canada, Our home on Native Land

"Reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians, also requires reconciliation with the natural world. If human beings resolve problems between themselves, but continue to destroy the natural world, reconciliation remains incomplete... Reconciliation will never occur unless we are also reconciled with the Earth."

Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada 2015

As a descendant of immigrants from all over the world, it is important for me to acknowledge the history and legacy of colonialism. It is important to acknowledge that the lands I guide on and love so dearly are not mine and that Crown Lands are stolen lands. This is part of our role in the greater work of Reconciliation.  It is important for each of us to learn, to listen and to build relationships with Indigenous communities across this beautiful country.

I begin every Nature Immersion experience with an acknowledgement of the Indigenous people that have walked the land for 1000s of years and lived in harmony with all their relations. Deep, intentional time with Nature is how we too can hold all beings with love and respect.

The areas of Ontario (Huron word for ‘great lake’ Iroquois for ‘sparking water’) that I guide on are part of Treaty 57 the ‘St. Regis Purchase’ of 1847. These lands belong to the Haudenosaunee, the Huronne-Wendat, the Mississauga and Anishinabek Nations.
